this happened last week, and congrats to matt as the move from the echl to the ahl is a necessary step to eventually play with the big boys.
maybe some of our R.I. posters can get over to see him

Isn't this needed since BOTH Boston goalies were injured and they called up BOTH of Providence's goalie. Someone needs to play goal in Providence.

Matt has looked pretty good splitting time with the Glads down in the Coast league. Saw him play last season while visiting friends. He split time with a more seasoned vet but had good numbers. He has a lively twitter account with a niche of followers @ginnandtonic35

Don't go all negative on us now. Congrats to Ginn. Promotions in sports are often a result of injury. See Gehrig, Lou and Pipp, Wally. Let's hope Ginn takes advantage of the opportunity.

Subban returned to Prov today as Tuukka is back in net for Boston. Ginn loaned back to Atlanta Gladiators. Too bad. Kid deserves a break. Bad D in front of him with the Gladiators but still has a .919 save percentage
