HC closes out the first half with a series against Niagara (2-8-2, 2-2-2 AHA). We are (3-12-1, 2-5-1 AHA) playing decently but learning to close out games I think. Team has lot's of room to grow, but some encouraging signs against the bottom of the ECAC (Brown) and competitive games vs. RIT, Merrimack, and UNH.
Blocked shot legend Nick Hale (Jr.) received defensive honors this week. No surprise, Leibold leading the team in points and is riding a scoring streak. Niagara was picked in the middle of pack in the preseason poll at t-6 (RIT was 4 for comparison), so we shall see how we stack up.
Most eyes on Football Friday night, but the games are Friday night at 7pm and Saturday night at 7pm on FloHockey. Wish AHA had the ESPN + package!

Lost 3-1 - the stats show a one-sided game (women lost 4-0 at UConn and managed just 18 shots on goal)

Won 3-2 tonight. 2 PP goals from freshman Gelatt. No Nick Hale nor Ryan Leibold this weekend aka as their 2 best players. Hopefully what ever ails them is cured by next year.

Hockey team definitely showing some signs of life and steady improvement. Starting to believe Riga may be turning this ship around.
