1. Lehigh lost at home to #345 Maryland Eastern Shore, 81-75. From the board . . .
Post by lehigh90 » Sat Dec 04, 2021 5:01 pm If they lose to UMES today at home, get the coaching search consultant on the horn.
2. Bucknell lost to Hofstra, 88-69. Tell us what you really think, 137 . . .

Bison now #313 in the nation in the Pomeroy rankings. Worst rank in the program's history.
Team ranks #358 in the nation in steals by their defense. That is LAST in the nation. And to complement that stat, they are in the bottom 30 in the nation in allowing the opposition to steal the ball. That's a difference of six possessions a game - just due to steals. Hard to make up. To some extent, those are functions of coaching and the system being played.
Team is also in the bottom 25 in the nation in defense (points allowed per possession) and also in the bottom 25 in shots blocked.
Fire ND.
3. American lost to #260 Howard, 90-56.
4. Army lost to #255 Air Force, 76-58.
What a clinking, clanking, clattering collection of caliginous junk. And we may the worst of the bunch.

Watched portions of the Bucknell-Princeton game last night. Are players hurt or sick for Bucknell? They had 11 players last night and looked like a very young team- it was about a 20 point spread for most of the game in part because Princeton shot the ball well early

Should be great basketball when the leagues bottom five start tangling, on the positive side it's not possible that we won't win some of those match ups is it

They will beat us easily. They shoot better than us and have an inside presence.

AU breaks a seven-game (!!!) losing streak with a good 83-73 win at home over St. Francis (PA). First game at Bender since the season opener Nov. 9. Johnny O'Neill, in a horrendous shooting slump all season, finally broke through with a career-high 22, making all five of his 3-pointers. Needed this one bad, over a team that was 75 spots ahead of us in KenPom.

As bad as we are, Bucknell isn’t much better.
Here’s been the best shot of the season for Bison fans:

Colgate lost a very tough game at Pitt Yep, up three with a minute to go. Wouldn't have been an upset, either.

By the end of the season, there'll be a heck of a lot weaker team that loses to someone who loses to Lafayette who beat Rutgers who beat Purdue.

Former AU star Andre Ingram, who starred in the G-League for 10 years and then had a memorable NBA debut with the Lakers at age 32 in 2018-scoring 19 points, with four three-pointers-had another successful debut today: on "Wheel of Fortune." Andre dominated the game, winning $31,750 to qualify for the final bonus round. He won $17,500 when he solved the puzzle "I Really Like The Look Of This." Unfortunately, he couldn't solve the bonus round puzzle, which turned out to be "Fierce Snowstorm."
