From The Grand Forks Herald today:
Holy Cross to return to The Ralph
Holy Cross will be coming back to Ralph Engelstad Arena, the site of its biggest win in program history.
The Crusaders have signed a contract to play against UND in nonconference next season.
Holy Cross became the first No. 4 seed to upset a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament when it beat Minnesota in the 2006 NCAA regionals in Grand Forks. A No. 4 has beaten a No. 1 every year since.
The Crusaders lost to UND in the regional final that season.
This won't be the Crusaders' first trip back to Grand Forks since the 2006 regionals. In January 2013, they played a two-game series against UND in The Ralph. UND swept that series 5-2 and 3-2.
UND's nonconference schedule for next season is nearly complete. The Fighting Hawks will host Holy Cross and Quinnipiac in two-game series, play at Minnesota for two, play a home-and-home with Bemidji State and play a single game against Arizona State in Las Vegas. That leaves room for two more nonconference games.

Believe there is still a soft spot in the heart of ND hockey fans for knocking off hated Minnesota.

Good marketing for ASU to play in Las Vegas, which is suddenly a hockey town after getting an NHL franchise.

Fascinating and fabulous. The cows will be aching for a milking when the UND fans stumble back into the barn, saying to Bessie the cow "What happened in Vegas stays in Vegas."🙂 Similar to HC vs Fordham at Yankee Stadium or maybe at Croke Park in Dublin in the near future. Would Ram and Crusader fans travel for that? If so Fordham should use a home game for it this time. Uh, oh. I just googled Croke Park. Capacity is 82,300. They can fit more than 1% of the country for a match. There are smaller venues in Ireland that would work.

When I saw Croke Park, I first thought wow, really thinking big. You are right, something as bit more realistic would be in order.

Aviva Stadium seats about 50k. We played in the smaller Gaelic Grounds in the early 90s.

Can't remember what the attendance was in Limerick, HC was undefeated that year, Fordham was so-so.
HC won by a touchdown or less. The grass surface wasn't as good as Fitton then, never mind Fitton now. Not designed for football.

HC treated it more like a business trip. The Fordham team did a lot more “fun” stuff during the days leading up the game. Many said we played tight and Fordham was loose as could be.

We did play tight for that game and Fordham made some nice plays, but it was a "W" in the end for Holy Cross. Great party ( hullie ) after the game in Limerick......
