Do we know any of our '22 non-conference foes - other than Yale and Buffalo?

Thought we also had a 10 +/- year deal with Harvard as well as Yale. But I could be mistaken. I've made a mistake once before in my life but can't remember what it was.

Near certain @ Merrimack will be on the sked.

I would assume Monmouth will probably come to Fitton.
Lame homecoming game if it is that one. You could fit their fans in a telephone booth. I would rather play Sacred Heart!

Would Yale come to Worcester for Homecoming ?

Do opponents really care if a weekend they come is Homecoming, Family Weekend or any other “special” weekend? I wouldn’t think so.

Monmouth already has 2 PL schools on the sked each of the next 2 years, so they aren't coming to HC anytime soon.
The Merrimack games are part of multi-sport arrangement. No such deal exists w/Monmouth.

Need one more (or two if we are playing 12 games next year).
Who is it going to be?

A few days before the Villanova game, a very reliable source sent me the tentative schedule. I don't have exact dates, but I do have the order of games. The schedule I was sent was this:
@ Merrimack @ Buffalo vs Yale @ Colgate @ Harvard vs Bucknell Bye @ Lafayette vs Fordham vs Lehigh vs Bryant @ Georgetown
Based on this, I would guess Yale is likely Homecoming. I doubt a game is scheduled for Move-In weekend (Aug 28th), so Merrimack would likely be Sep 3rd. In that scenario, Yale would in fact be the 17th and Bucknell would be October 8th at the start of fall break. This is only a tentative schedule though, so it's subject to change.

Good sleuthing and with the NEC on the upswing with grad transfers, not a weak schedule. Would like to fill it out with a CAA team or maybe UMass or UConn if either of their new coaches wants to drop a tough game against a P-5 team like Willard cancelled Duke(?) when he arrived.
I assume the fall break is necessary or else the student counseling center would be overwhelmed. Just too grueling to go straight through to Thanksgiving with only Columbus Day and Veterans Day long weekends.🙂

I don't mind having a Bye week after six weeks that include H, Y and an FBS, not to mention four games on someone else's turf. Wouldn't mind @h being on a Friday night.

I thought the twelve week cycle, like leap year, had an extra week so it still allowed for a bye and an FBS game. I agree that playing an FBS team doesn't necessarily require HC to play 12. As a fan, an extra game is a bonus but we're not getting tackled or blocked.

Good thing the AD responsible for this horrendous OOC slate was fired, err promoted to a bigger job.

Definitely not a sexy OOC but pretty strong level of overall comp and geographically compact for those of us who might want to attend some road games.

Only half joking, but would Holy Cross just buy out the game at Georgetown and play at Fitton? No one in DC is going to that game in mid-November.

The next "12 games allowed for FCS" cycle starts in 2024 and again in 2025....it's every 5 years, so after that, 2029 and 2030 etc. Unless of course that rule has been changed...dunno.
Not in love with having 2 NEC games....

The question that immediately pops to mind: will this be the year that we finally beat both Harvard and Yale in the same season?
