What a wonderful story. I love the quotes from Joe Pesansky, Coach Chesney and the Mom & Dad. I wonder if this got coverage in the T & G or on TV?

Perhaps better without big publicity ? I think it's a balancing act. You don't want to look like you are doing it for the purpose of self-aggrandizement, but you also have to think that local folks would like to know of the heart-warming story. There was a real press conference, I assume, so it's not like we were trying to keep it secret.

So happy for this kid and his family from Grafton! I'm sure my daughter who works in that school system knows him! Such a wonderful thing for the football team to reach out to these kids!!! As long as we are talking about Team Impact... While exiting from the football game at Polar Park vs Colgate I was warmly greeted by former interim AD at HC Brendan Sullivan!!! In catching up in our brief conversation, I asked how things were at BU? He replied that he was no longer at BU and was now involved with Team Impact, as he was wearing that hat! Brendan, as of this past June is now the National Director of Finance of this organization! Click on the following link and read his story! Wishing him every success as he has found his niche!!! www.teamimpact.org/about-us/meet-our-team/staff/brendan-sullivan/
