Reading a JFK book and was happy to see a reference to alma mater. JFK aide and confidant Kenny O’Donnell is described as the “son of the College of the Holy Cross’s football coach.” I looked it up and Cleo O’Donnell was the HC coach from 1919-1929. Compiled an impressive 69-27-6 record. Also served as AD until 1933.

If I recall correctly, his son Kenny played for Gonzaga or St John's here in DC and then played for Harvard as well. I haven't seen him since freshman year in college.
BTW his dad was spot on with his comments on the assassination. As the co-author of the Senate report- Book 5 of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Reports- we too were asked to kindly revise the report as the facts strongly supported the possibility of something different than Oswald as the lone assassin-
I was also involved with three of the other reports in Books 1 (Castro Assassination efforts ), Book 2 (MLK and COINTELPRO) and Book 4 (the CIA Drug and Mind Control Research Programs).
If I remember correctly Book 3 was about NSA and DIA programs.
So far the best job in my career and it was nearly 50 years ago
