Linda George has been terrific for fifty years. Mike Pazik spends three years in the majors and waits fifty to get into the HC HOF? I hope Kalif doesn't have to wait that long.
Bringing credibility to HC Athletics by playing in the Bigs should be considered service to Holy Cross as a factor in weighing potential inductees, just like service to HC is considered for inductees like Bob Fouracre.

Fondly remember a breakaway dunk from Billy during the PL championship game at Bucknell in 1993. ESPN replayed it coming out of a timeout, complete with a monster scream.

I remember seeing former Red Sox star Bill Monbouquette with a stopwatch behind the backstop for his games at Fitton field Monbo was a childhood hero. He threw a no hitter, had a 20 win season in 1963 and was selected for four all star games in three seasons (two AS games per season from 1959-62) He, Pete Runnels and Frank Malzone would typically be all star choices from the Red Sox in those years. Malzone is still alive at 92. I saw him at an event at the Centrum with Dick "The Monster" Radatz. It was a thrill.

Yup....Remember that exact play like it was yesterday. Pretty much a capper in a dominant performance. Did Bucknell beat HC twice that year? Regardless, that beatdown in the old Davis Gym was great.

Just looked it up...Holy Cross split with the Bison. Close win at home, then got rolled in the last game of the regular season. I think that's why I thought they might have lost twice
