Two great stories in my opinion. DJ served as a practice player for four years, gets just a few minutes of playing time, and earns a degree from a great school as his father (& mother?) did. Malcolm plays high school ball in a tough league and thinks he can play D-1 ball, has to prove so by playing JuCo ball, then finally gets to show his D1 talent by playing well at HC and using that talent to get his degree. Two determined men who have earned our pride as fellow alums now

Congrats to both guys. Agree with Malcolm about changing the narrative about Juco transfers and their ability to succeed here. I suspect he’ll be successful in whatever he does. Same with DJ. He persevered through a very challenging era at HC but stuck with the program when many others bailed and when he knew his primary contributions would be in practice. There’s a lot to respect there.
