Congratulations to the Patriots and the Krafts for securing this great American tradition.
There is absolutely no downside to this at all.

Not unless you live in Phila, where as the midpoint between the two academies it should be every year.

^ Not unless you live in Phila, where as the midpoint between the two academies it should be every year. Well after the 2022 version, Philly will have to wait until 2027 to host it again. The Midshipmen are staying at the Rhode Island Convention Center the night before the game.

Krafts know how to do things right. It will be great. When NCAA lacrosse came there, a video statement by BB was part of the bid package. He spoke about his lifelong commitment to college lax. His devotion to Navy football is even greater.

His devotion to Navy football is even greater. Good point. Perhaps it was BB who was the rainmaker to get Army-Navy to Gillette and not the Krafts. He donated his and his father's world's largest private collection of football books to the Naval Academy.

Bill Belichick's father Stephen Belichick coached at the Naval Academy for over 30 years.
Bill's daughter Amanda is the women's lacrosse coach at Holy Cross currently. Think we can work that angle to get some tickets to this thing?
My father played under Steve Belichick and was in the Navy for 32 years so I'll ask him if we can get tickets through his old Navy contacts.
Was able to go to a bunch of these games in Philadelphia at The Linc and Veterans (when it existed). The opening ceremonies are always amazing and it's truly a unique and awesome experience in CFB.
This is an amazing opportunity for us New Englanders to get a shot at attending an Army Navy game to pet Bill the Goat.
Probably wouldn't hurt to approach the Holy Cross NROTC staff either tbh.
GO NAVY BEAT ARMY.
