Whats nuts about this win is that Harvard literally recruited 0 players on our roster and we still won. Crazy.

great win, but wouldn't the win over Sacred Heart count as a D 1 victory? Interesting question. Neither Sacred Heart nor Holy Cross appear in the list of 35 Div 1 teams making up the WIH Pairwise Rankings ( PWR is the simulation of the NCAA's criteria for playoff eligibility.; it fluctuates every game day and can be found on USCHO.com ). Nor do any of the other teams in Holy Cross's WIH league appear on the list. However, Harvard is included in the PWR.. www.uscho.com/rankings/pairwise-rankings/d-i-women/. I have no idea what this means about the HCWIH teams status in Div.1 or as a separate matter, elinility for the NCAA playoffs under current circumstances ? Perhaps it has something to do with its "transitional" status ?

Looks like it includes the 34 teams in a conference plus Post, which is listed along with HC and others as a D-1 Independent on USCHO.com. We’ll definitely be included next year as a member of Hockey East.

This 2-0 win over Harvard was huge (after the 8-3 blowout yesterday by this same team). It looks as though the women are developing and this is evidence of it. It may also be an example of the value of "home ice." Hard to not be full of pride for these women. Harvard out shot us 57-13 in the first game, the 8-3 loss. And we come back to shut them out at the Hart. Didn't think our first DI win would come this soon and absolutely didn't expect it to be Harvard. This is a team that in the recent past has had Olympians on the roster. Keep it up!
