JMU brought in the most viewers. The NCAA and ABC would love a team from a major Eastern Media Market as well as a Cinderella story. Father Markey could be our Sister Jean. Drafted by the Celtics and gave it up to be a Jesuit.

I think we are significantly better than our game showed last week and, like the other Chesney teams, will improve week to week- with the possibility of a bad game during the season. So do I think we're NDSU good? Not yet and maybe years away, but this Saturday, Harvard, and Yale will tell us if we have a chance to get close this year.
Honestly, I think we can win this game if we defend the pass and do something to slow down their RBs- not stop them, just force them to make plays. Offensively we should move the ball on them, and I think our OL and WRs will surprise them a bit; if we execute, we could present some issues for them.

Let's win a Round of 16 game first before we start talking about Frisco.

Let’s win Saturday. A first round bye will help us get closer to Frisco. Probably need to go 10-1 to have a shot at a bye.

This year Iowa might be a very bad FBS offensive team, Buffalo is better offensively.
For us to win I think we need 24 plus points on the board

Let’s win Saturday. A first round bye will help us get closer to Frisco. Probably need to go 10-1 to have a shot at a bye. Likely 10-1 to have a shot at a bye and probably 9-2 to have a shot at an at-large if we don't win the PL auto-bid.

Going head-to-head with the NFL and it’s slate of games on Jan. 8 is unwise. A Saturday game is clearly the better choice, even if televised in one of ESPN’s lesser channels. Even the NBA gets blown out from a ratings standpoint when they have gone head-to-head with the NFL.

Historically, even the major bowl games have shifted from New Year's Day to December 31st whenever January 1 falls on a Sunday. My dad always hates when that happens because he's a huge college football fan and not really into the NFL. And sitting in front of the TV all day on New Years is one if his big sports traditions.

If the one loss was to FBS Buffalo and we hypothetically ran the table against FCS competition, a seed would be likely IMO. That's how Colgate's season played out in 2018 when they got a bye and hosted JMU in the Round of 16. The best way to think of it is that to get a seed, you have to be ranked in the top 8 in the country.
