BN appearance sponsored by Southwest Airlines. "Bing" Wanna get away? 🙂
Seriously, it's a new season, many new faces and a schedule capable of facilitating a successful OOC w/l record to start league play on the front foot. Let's Go!

I don't follow the women's program as closely but will try to provide my impressions:
- obviously more success last year on the women's side, but there was a lot of seniors last year so less experienced team this year.
- even though MM has only been there 3 years(?) she is one of the more senior coaches in the league since there has been so much coach turnover in the Patriot League - jokingly mentioned beating her father 3 out of 4 times. -looking forward to the Ireland trip - thanks goes to some financial assistance from a donor and athletic department - will allow Power-Cassidy to "go home". - mention of the Marquette game that will allow the players from the mid-west to "go home" - Addyson Cross was there and was vey impressive. She spoke well and talked about taking more of a leadership role this year as a captain. She has historically been the defensive stopper but will look to contribute more offensively this year. As a captain is looking to keep the younger players engaged and make sure they understand the focus and commitment expected.

Any insights on the evening? Based on the pictures looks like a good turnout Looks like 25 people to me in a small room but I guess that is considered a good turnout for HC WBB....And like three people under the age of 60 that were not players/coaches/admin

That's a combined turnout for M+W. And sixty is the new late fifties.

Even there they stayed in the "tailgate" area while avoiding the event that brought them out?
