Even picked him before Fotis and the crazy stats.

Let's see how Coker does against a porous Fordham D. Glad to see he is getting some much deserved recognition. I think Sluka's progression plays a role as well. Even last season he was just a second late on deep throws or under threw them (except when it mattered...vs. Sac Heart). Keep rolling Jump Ball Jaylen!

I believe the 1st Sluka to Coker was their freshman year against Fordham.... after Sluka's TD scramble in the 2nd half 3 down? long... FU DL jumps offsides, free play recognition by center... snap is low but Sluka handles it [hit him in the shin?], Coker goes up the left sideline to 1st down maker & out jumps the DB for the ball great 'situational football'

I'd like to be the first one on this board to give credit to both Coach Dean Kennedy and Coach Rich Gunnell. I've noticed a big improvement with Matt Sluka's progressions and passing skills thanks in part to Coach Kennedy working with his mechanics. Same can be said of Coach Gunnell bringing his experience from BC and helping our wide receiver room. Jaylen looks great and his relationship with Matt has grown into a very trusting one. On the defense side of the ball kudos to Frankie Monte and Dante Bolden for stepping up during Jake Dobb's absence. 5 or 6 straight quarters of shutout ball.
