Thanks for posting this link. It seems HC has a lot to look forward to in two weeks.

I remember when the "blitz" was called the "red dog" Even when I was in high school we had split ends and wing backs as we tried, mostly unsuccessfully to compete against bigger, stronger, and faster opponents. I think we should have just been running the spread (or we did use the wildcat for a while) to counter some of our better opponents

I'd bet that it's somewhat easy to amass stats like Fordham has when six of your eight YTD opponents have a combined winning percentage of less than ten percent.

I should also note, the offense, while in use now at Tennessee where Heupel is the current Head Ball Coach, was run by Heupel at UCF. Fordham's TE coach David Weeks served under Heupel at UCF.

My high school football team used a "52 Monster" defense.. The monster was a hybrid line backer D back.. It was played by pleasant Valley Country Club golf pro, Paul Parajackes

A, modern day FCS "Air Coryell..." This is not last year's Rams team. FU has receivers who can take advantage of the spacing and have impressive run after catch numbers . RBs who benefit from the passing game. And, the finest passing qb in FCS football... HC has physical, brutal complementary football. HC is athletic, strong & deep in all phases of the game. It will be interesting to see how the comparative advantages work out.

To be very honest other than Ohio, Fordham has played some weak teams. Given the patsies and mediocrities (Ohio is the only quality opponent they played- and lost BTW) it’s hard to judge the offense. Plus 5th-year Tim Morat at QB is very talented and very experienced. We’ll see how Fordham’s offense scheme does v tougher defenses (HC) and when DeMorat departs (next year). That being said, no doubt Fordham/DeMorat will rack up other-worldly yardage v the remainder of its schedule (minus HC): Bucknell, Laffy and Colgate.
