Liam Anderson merits inclusion on the Buck Buchanan award he was a contender to be on the list prior to Dobbs' injury, but now that Dobbs is sideline I think he most certainly should be included. He and Kuznetsov have been heart and soul guys. I am surprised Coker didn't get a mention as well. Might not win it but at least be added to the watchlist.

I know we're not supposed to care, but quite remarkable that we only have Ng selected for PL weekly awards, no other offense or defense selections

Liam Anderson merits inclusion on the Buck Buchanan award Here's the interesting and ironic thing about this. Our defense is pretty good at getting three-and-outs and keeping the offense off the field. Our offense has strung together some pretty long drives throughout the year. All to say that the number of plays our defense is on the field during the course of a game is fewer compared to other teams. Liam Anderson simply doesn't have the opportunity to put up as good numbers compared to guys on other teams. For instance, haven't defensive players from Lehigh and Fordham won Defensive POW awards multiple times this year? Don't think an HC player has won it once.

That's an astute analysis. You must have gone to Holy Cross!

Good observation. That explains the addition of the Lehigh backer. Some Fordham fans have been complaining (before their stellar performance against World Beater U aka Stony Brook) about LB Ryan Greenhagen (preseason Buchanan watchlist) but it is hard to knock him when Fordham has 1 minute scoring drives and the D is on the field 70% of the time.
Edit: also of note, Bryant LB Joe Andreessen has been added to the Buck Buchanan watchlist. He is 4th in the country in tackles. Some decent opponents on the list.
