This is good news, bad news for the Crusaders. Coach Chesney is a special guy and he loves Holy Cross . . . . . but so did/does Tom Gilmore. Bob is almost at the pinnacle of what he can achieve in FCS/Patriot League.
As I just told another poster, what you see in those video snippet interviews is the "real" Bob Chesney - no artifice. I personally think he's here to stay for at least another couple of years (I hope!).

I think this post-season will be a gauge of how close HC is to achieving that. Next year, how competitive HC is against BC and Army will be an indicator of his potential ability as a coach at a higher level. I think HC is in line for a five-peat, given that DeMorat is at the end of his eligibility. And HC is fortunate that Bryant isn't on the schedule. .

Ches does not have to win or even be close in those two to show his ability. Obviously doing either would only enhance his resume.

Glad to see BC upset NC State - only because I don't want to see Hafley get fired.

I agree and for exactly the same reason.

They have confidence in him now but they have a tough game next week or rough looking recruiting class it can always change. But seems like he is safe currently.
