This weekend Massey has HC favored over Colby-Sawyer (0-3) by a lot (92-50) with a 100% chance for the win. I am doing this posting out of habit, not because it gives me any pleasure. These athletes deserve better from a head coach. No other comment from me.

Has Massey or Sagarin ever had a D3 team favored over a D1 team? I guess there's a first time for everything.

Colby-Sawyer College, a little more than 2 hours north of Worcester in New London NH....Played a lot of AAU tourneys there. A great place to spend some time, one of my favorite locations to play a weekend tournament.....

1. I don't believe that we have 100% chance for a win.
2. The idea that we're charging $10 for admission to this game is crazy. They should be offering to pick up our gas money if we actually want to go.

Colby-Sawyer probably with better video coverage than Rose Hill (from the recent video fiasco).

The Chargers come into Worcester off a big win last night at UMass Boston (you remember that they’re legit)

C-S is 1-3 (they won their last game by 1 over UMass-Boston (1-2). Why do you expect a loss?

When was the last time we had 5 seniors who were in our rotation? 5 i is a really high number for one class. I'm going to take a wild stab and say '93 (Mashburn/Powell/Walker/Breslin/Farkus)

Has Massey or Sagarin ever had a D3 team favored over a D1 team? I guess there's a first time for everything. Don't know what matchups have occurred, but I do know that the top D3 teams (Massey) are ranked ahead of the weakest D1's. For example, Wisconsin-Lacrosse and Christopher Newport would both be favored over HC on a neutral court in that ranking system.

I respectfully disagree. I think the players we have, despite being Nelson recruits, are smart enough to know as a team they are NOT very good (the sum is less than the individual parts) and will look to instead have a statement win. Granted, beating a D-3 team might not be much of a statement but I don't think they'll be looking past C-S. I hope they don't prove me wrong as wins will likely be very few and very far between this season. (hoops, the 24 hiatus is over . Thanksgiving is in my rearview mirror).

Saying one college team has a 100% chance of beating another college team seems stupid and disrespectful. Colby-Sawyer, BTW, is a small college in the lovely town of New London, NH. In theory, HC should win by 40. In reality, who knows.

The most confusing stat from our last loss was Gates playing 27 minutes, including not in for the last 6-8 minutes when we had closed their lead to at least a more manageable difference No apparent injury

Will C-S arrive in Worcester on Saturday or Sunday? They must play the Worcester area D-3 teams occasionally. I wouldn't pay for a hotel for a game 2 hours away if I was a D-3 bean counter, counting on this being one of the needed savings of not being D-1.
But would this be a guarantee game with HC paying enough to cover overnight accommodations? If so, thanks season ticket holders who pay for this game and the Dean game the same as for D-1 opponents.

I will be on campus tomorrow to drop my son off. The question is whether I have the stomach to go to the game or whether I’ll drop him and just go right back home. Probably going to go right back.

You'll be able to hear the radio broadcast until about the Holland, MA-Union, Ct. line. Oh, never mind.
