Out of 768 college football teams, BC is ranked 123 and HC is 124.
Carry on.

They got the order wrong. Must be a misprint.

I suspect without DeMorat and some of his top receivers gone, they don't seem to have the depth that HC has had and likely will be a much weaker team by 2025 when they play the Eagles.

There was another game early in the season, Maine, where the Eagle players looked like complete a-holes. Made those of us who don't necessarily root against them want to do just that.
Noticed the local (Milford area) alleged 4-star offensive lineman, Pyne, entered the transfer portal. Never played a down for them even though he already burned a redshirt year and their OL was terrible. One relative played for Lafayette and one for Brown (think he was at HC briefly); probably a better fit at the FCS level. Either that or BC's evaluation of the kid was way, way off.

Thank God Hafley is still under contract for a decent amount of $$$.....I think Ches would be headed east on I-90 otherwise....program seems like a dumpstahh fire from afar.
That may have been the most "invisible" BC season in terms of local interest that I can evah remembah.

He should stay in Worcester County.

Some here may remember BC offensive lineman Steve Lively from the early 80s.
Lively maintains the current dumpster fire that is BC Athletics goes back 10+ years during the tenure of BC AD Gene Defilippo. Lively has absolutely no love for Defilippo and leaves little to interpretation in the letter he includes herein.

Blaming the AD who's been gone for 10 years is like blaming Sean Kearney for HC's current basketball woes, in my opinion.
Like Notre Dame, BC built a university the football team can be proud of. Only thing is, in so doing, they may have ruined the football team.

Wow. Next years game wbiththem should be interesting. If the game was early in the season and HC had Dobbs, this year they had a shot. Surprising how bad a team BC had, they really fell off a cliff.

We get occasional gripes on Crossports about past ADs but nothing like this nuclear missive. HC has stayed true to itself and honorable in the larger swamp of D-1 athletics. We aren't winning in most sports but that can be and hopefully is being addressed.

Ches would be great there, but can’t you see the “this guy lost to Merrimack last season, he’s going to beat Clemson?” posts.

Had they not signed him to an extension after a lukewarm 2021 season, good chance we'd be watching Chesney lead the Eagles out of the tunnel against Holy Cross next September.
