Wofford’s hoop coach resigned yesterday. His record was something like 56-42. He took a leave of absence a month ago after, apparently, some players went to the administration to complain he was too demanding.

Wofford has 1800 students, all undergraduates like HC. If they can have winning seasons in D-1 MBB so can HC. Their WBB is 9-4 currently.

Former owner of the Carolina Panthers put in the football facility and the alumni are very active and supportive of athletics. VaTech hoops coach, Mike Young, did a great job at Wofford.
The campus is gorgeous, faculty is strong, and the gym, like the football stadium is first class. Students are well qualified and possess that genuine southern warmth and charm.

The Terriers were off to a 5-4 start in his fourth season at the helm when he stepped aside on December 5th. (Forced Leave ).
The team won its game against Coastal Carolina the following night. Afterward, freshman guard Jackson Paveletzke noted “this is a player led team and we have to stick (with) each other and play for each other.”

It's hard to know what happened to his paycheck when he resigned. Hopefully for the coach he's at least getting a settlement of some sort.
The players and coaches of Holy Cross MBB have faced even less success on the floor but except for one reserve who left the team, have all stuck together this season with no complaints of the coaching being too hard.
