Some schools of interest...
Army heads to Virginia. Fifth straight appearance by Army, who always seems competitive. In 2018, they beat NC State in their first game, but since then have lost eight straight tournament games. Last year they had two tough losses to Southern Miss and Kennesaw State.
Penn to Auburn.
Maine to Miami.
CCSU to South Carolina.
UConn gets an at-large and heads to Gainesville (two seed in the regional). They get Texas Tech.
NCAA Baseball Tournament one of the more underrated events on the sports calendar each year, IMO.

Would have been a nice thing for New England to get a regional. Probably has not been one since baseball went away from its prior geographic setup.

The reason BC isn't hosting is due to their terrible OOC schedule.

Let's not forget Northeastern (44-14) which lost to UNCW in the CAA final but rightfully received an at-large bid - they're the no.3 seed in the Wake Forest regional The Huskies beat BC and UConn this season and are legit - 1st game vs. Maryland

Good call, haze.
Nice seeing three New England teams get at-larges.

Another 4 seed from the northeast, Rider upset no.1 Coastal Carolina 11-10 in extra innings AWP was clobbered by UVA 15-1 and face Oklahoma today in elimination game BC’s pitching was terrible and they lost to underdog Troy 11-10 - big disappointment for them after just missing a host position for this weekend

Agree SoV - it's a terrific event. One thing that makes it really cool is the double-elimination format. So if you're a low-major looking to score an upset, you get multiple chances to secure a win that the team and fanbase won't soon forget. We did just that when we made the tourney in 2016.

Tough showing from Army. I knew their pitching wouldn’t hold up, but thought they’d manage more than 6 hits and two runs in two games.

Penn holds on against Sanford, 5-4.
They play the winner or Sanford - Southern Miss tonight. Probably hoping for Samford.
Two shots to get to the super regionals.

With all other teams from the northeast eliminated, Penn’s improbable run might come to an end today - they have to beat Southern Miss today to get to the super regionals - win or lose an impressive weekend for the Quakers

Penn led 5-1 in the 4th inning but eventually could not hold So. Miss down and lost 11-7 What a performance for the Ivy champs - Ivy sports are really good and far better than anything the PL can some up with (save HC football)
