Not really significant - the CHA is a women's league - this is just a streamlining of operational expenses

The new name not mentioned that I noticed. Assuming the name of the larger conference will remain, un-gentlemanly or not.

This particular league probably doesn't have the same view of Holy Cross as you. I would guess they are pleased with the late season play under Coach Riga and happy to have in their league whatever team makes sense for Holy Cross.
If I was on a board of a non-profit league I can't imagine voting to issue an ultimatum like you suggest to any member school.

Yea, teams in your league are building 70 million dollar hockey facility to be a non-profit league. We all know presidents run these leagues and HC is an outlier in Atlantic Hockey. You got to think Lindenwood is coming to Atlantic Hockey now on the men's side.

Would have to agree with you- no women's team from any of the AHA schools relatively close to HC involved in this particular league (AIC, Bentley, SHU, Army); plus after RMU's return, only 3 AHA men's teams will have a corresponding women's team in the league.

A case could be made for HC women's hockey changing leagues, but not because of bullying by the AHA, one of the puniest potential bullies on the playground. And I have no reason to think the AHA operates this way, just the concept of a league like the AHA or PL acting thuggish is absurd to me.
