Before the French open and Wimbledon, Ukrainian players announced, in advance, that they would not shake the hands of Russian and Belorussian players after their matches. Ukrainian players, nontheless, were booed in France when they left the court after losing to the aforementioned. Today, after a great match between Ukrainian Elina Svitolina and Belorussian Vika Akarenka which Svitolina won after 3 hours, British fans booed Azarenka when she left the court. She, and the Ukrainians in France deserved better.
