Holy Cross alum and longtime member of the development office, Phil Gibson, recently accepted a job with Syracuse — “Executive Director of Regional Advancement / Director of Athletics Development”
I imagine Phil will still keep a close eye on HC athletics.
Congrats and good luck, Phil!

Was he the "player to be named later" when we got Sean Scanlon? I've been associated with Phil for years. Good guy; effective at what he does; he will be missed. But, Syracuse?! Geez, I lived there 9 long winters. Dress for the occasion, Phil, because if you think Worcester weather is tough, you ain't seen nothing yet! When I moved there, the first thing the natives told me was, "we have two seasons: winter and the 4th of July." Syracuse gets more snow than any other "major city" (using that adjective pretty loosely) in the United States.

Maybe! Note that she is “just” the INTERIM chief advancement officer. But wouldn’t be surprised if her hand was in the Phil Gibson decision.
We’ll know for sure if Syracuse names Phil Boroughs as their president/chancellor. 😂

Hopefully we'll still see Phil around HC now and then and we schedule more athletic comps with the 'Cuse as a consequence of his move. Great guy and advocate for Holy Cross.
