Fine inside-outside combo, especially for a rising soph.

Looks like Costello played for two years at BC High before transferring recently to Newman and reclassifying to the class of 2026.

Connor Nairus from Sept 13
Connor Nairus, forward from St. Mark's, combines his skills with a physically imposing frame, making him a standout presence on the court over the weekend. His shot-making ability adds a dynamic dimension to his game, allowing him to be a viable option on offense. Nairus possesses a strong post game, but his skill set comes with both inside and outside scoring. Expect him to be a pivotal asset for St. Mark's as he continues to develop his game.

Be great to get Costello and Nairus Wouldn’t it. Sounds like both will be chased by many schools given their combination of size and skills.

So what were the kid's stats at BC High? Looks like he spent two years there.
"reclassifying" is tantamount to redshirting; probably a good call in his case as he most definitely needs to fill out a bit to be an effective D1 player.

Fine inside-outside combo, especially for a rising soph. No denying that he’s his father’s kid!

Costello from NERR last week
Quinn Costello is set to join the 2026 class at the Newman School. At 6'8", Costello possesses a unique combination of guard skills and size, making him a versatile player on the court. He consistently knocks down three-point shots, adding a potent long-range threat with size. Additionally, Costello showcases a knack for finishing plays above the rim, utilizing his athleticism to score in emphatic fashion. Costello's contributions aren't limited to scoring; he is also a good rebounder, using his length and positioning to secure boards effectively. On the defensive end, he exhibits quick feet, enabling him to switch on defense and defend various positions. His lengthy frame becomes an asset in altering shots and disrupting opponents' plays. Quinn Costello's emergence as a dynamic 6'8" prospect with guard skills, elite shooting ability, and defensive versatility is noteworthy

While watching Oldham County and Max Green play St. X., I couldn't help but notice a 6'4" sophomore wing for X named Jeremiah Jackson. The kid is a physical specimen who looks like he is ready for D1 play today. I think he had 23 in the game and has been starting for two years. If I were HC, I would start recruiting him today and hope he has stopped growing at least height wise because if he gets to 6'6" or 6'7", he will probably have a chance to fulfill his dream of becoming a Tennessee Volunteer. Of note, his father played in the NFL and he is a member of the NHS. According to Verbal Commits, he was offered last summer by Ohio.
