BC's path is obvious & simple: They expect they will have superior speed in skills positions plus they will rely on pound & ground to wear us down. Powerful OL opens huge holes for their RBs who will blow past the line of scrimmage quickly into our defensive backfield. RBs will be tough to bring down in the open field. Speedy receivers will be tough to cover. They expect their "D" to control the line and their DBs will snuff out our passing options. Shut down Sluka. As Sluka goes so goes the HC offense. HC: BC may be in for a few major surprises.

HC: BC may be in for a few major surprises. Good analysis. I expect BC to have someone spy Sluka so that he can’t beat them with his feet. He’ll need to move the ball in the air. Conversely, most FBS schools use their size advantage over most FCS opponents to pound the rock and simply use basic physics to control the game. To win we’ll need to steal some points off of turnovers. If we can keep it close into the 4th quarter, anything is possible.

I've had these stickahhs made online and have given out a bunch to friends and family. Jared Curry is sporting one on his jeep in the Gamecock state actually. I have about 15 left if anyone here would like one. Just message me your mailing address here and I'll mail you one.

In my opinion, the biggest challenge usually comes from fatigue in the 2nd half playing against bigger OL/DL, however HC has significantly grown in size so I'm hoping we can play a error free game and capitalize on a few BC turnovers. Let's go HC.

Will be very interesting to see how HC can compete against the bottom of the ACC. Go Cross

If HC beats BC next week better get a security team to get Chesney back on the HC bus. If BC were smart they wouldn't let him leave Chestnut Hill.

Im not that surprised by BC losing to NIU. I actually wish they'd won because I think the pressure to get a home win OOC will make the Eagles more focused than they otherwise might be for an FCS opponent. The coaching staff will be feeling that pressure even more so.

People there said the fans were taunting Hafley from the stands today.
Let’s get 50% purple there next week.
And storm field.

Sounds like the UCF transfer Castellanos outplayed Moorehead during BC’s scrimmage today. (QB battle) 🤷♂️

Morehead was a no show, looks like Castellanos is the man next week.
Exciting player. After seeing all the yards Merrimack's qb got on scrambles, a repeat of that will make for a long afternoon.

I read on Twitter that BC paid NIU $1.1 million for their game today. If that’s true, what an embarrassment. Any idea what BC is paying HC for next week’s matchup?
Let’s bring the house to Alumni Stadium next Saturday. If BC fans are as predictable as I think they are, there will be a very small turnout by them on Saturday.

Also read that Hafley signed a 5 year contract extension in 2021 that locked him up through the 2026 season. The old contract he had was for $3 million a year, so it’s safe to assume that he’s making more than that annually under his current deal.
If BC was to let him go after this season, they would owe him about $9 million. That’s a bitter pill to swallow regardless of how much FBS/ACC money BC garners.

Reading the posts by BC fans on BC Interruption is very entertaining. The BC football program is unquestionably at a crossroads. A loss the HC next Saturday would be catastrophic and would likely leave the administration with no option but to fire Hafley in short order, perhaps as early as the following Monday. That being said, Hafley and his team will be under enormous pressure to win, and win convincingly, on Saturday, especially with Florida St. coming to Chestnut Hill the following week for what is being billed as the marquee game on their home schedule this season. Not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing for HC heading into Chesnut Hill.
