Without Louth and Rabs we may have to see Kenney at the 5 and Nugent at the 4

If Louth and Rabs are not healthy for the coming season should we expect them to ever be healthy?

If Louth and Rabs are not healthy for the coming season should we expect them to ever be healthy? They are eligible for a post grad season and possibly another medical red shirt year, so this season is a "contract year" so to speak. That's an incentive to get healthy and play well for HC in 2023-24. I assume they have complicated injuries and are trying their best to get on the court.

Louth had knee surgery, meniscus I think..Rabs had his ankle "rebuilt". Hopefully they both will be ready to go out and perform well!

One of the best things about the football team being so good is that I will happily wait to see some basketball games before I worry too much about which returning guys will take a big step forward, which guys who haven’t been able to stay healthy in previous years will finally be able to show us what they can do, which new guys will fit best at which positions and which new guys will be so good that we can’t believe they didn’t have more or better offers. The only thing I know with any degree of certainty on September 10 is that we’re going to be a more well-prepared team that has a clear plan for how to beat each opponent than we have been in a long while.

Would appreciate anyone passing along who's practicing (or, better still, who's NOT practicing) when practice starts. If either or both of those two young men aren't out there, you can rest assured the injured party or parties isn't going to contribute a darned thing. If they are, I remain optimistic.

Pretty sure Rabs has resumed practicing. He was at BC yesterday with some other players. He looks good.

From a good source, Rabs will be ready to play this season.

I had "ankle reconstruction" a few years back and suspect that's the same but different terms. Maybe we can compare notes though I'm a little older and don't played competitive basketball at any level.

Used eft hand to score on one play, seemed to have a pretty smooth outside shot

I like his contesting shots. The best was the back to back blocks on the same possession.

Been resisting saying this but can't help it any longer, Incoming player Hare has no hair.

I wonder as well but really, really hope it's just a choice and shaves his head and doesn't feel the need to spike his hair to get an additional 3"-4" in height in case he missed the elongator.
