Fuller claimed his first Patriot League Football Offensive Player of the Week award after rushing for a career-high 120 yards and scoring five touchdowns, the most by a League player in a single game since 2014, in the Crusaders’ 42-20 win over Merrimack. Dobbs received Patriot League Football Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second time in his career after registering a career-high 20 tackles against the Warriors.
Georgetown sophomore wide receiver Nicholas Dunneman was named Patriot League Football Special Teams Player of the Week after averaging 12.0 yards on four punt returns in the Hoyas’ 49-7 win over Marist.
Lafayette freshman defensive lineman Michael Vaughn captured Patriot League Football Rookie of the Week by recording 2.0 sacks in the Leopards’ 19-14 victory against Sacred Heart.
Fordham junior linebacker James Conway and sophomore quarterback C.J. Montes, Georgetown sophomore safety Jaden Dugger, Lafayette sophomore running back Jamar Curtis and junior safety Saiku White all received honorable mentions for their performances on Saturday.
The Patriot League football players of the week are selected in a vote by League media members and each school’s football athletics communications contacts, who are not eligible to vote for their student-athletes.

*The junior running back’s five total touchdowns are the most in a game by a Patriot League student-athlete since Chase Edmonds scored five times vs. Penn on Oct. 10, 2015. Fuller has 26 touchdowns in 25 career games.

*The fifth-year linebacker helped Holy Cross’s defense limit the Warriors to three points in the second half to pull away.
*The Patriot League’s Preseason Defensive Player of the Year returned to action after missing the Crusaders’ last eight games of the 2022 season due to injury.
PATRIOT LEAGUE FOOTBALL SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Nicholas Dunneman, Georgetown, So., WR, Montclair, N.J./Seton Hall Prep
*Dunneman had four punt returns for 48 yards, including a long of 31 yards in Georgetown’s 49-7 victory over Marist.
*The sophomore wide receiver’s 31-yard punt return gave the Hoyas’ offense the ball deep in Marist territory to set up a Georgetown touchdown.
*He also rushed four times for 32 yards and caught two passes for 22 yards.
PATRIOT LEAGUE FOOTBALL ROOKIE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Michael Vaughn, Lafayette, Fr., DL, Clinton, Md./St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes/Wyoming Seminary
*Vaughn recorded four tackles and two sacks for a loss of nine yards in his collegiate debut to help Lafayette defeat Sacred Heart 19-14.
*The Clinton, Md. native had sacks in the second and fourth quarters, helping hold the Pioneers to 254 yards of total offense
*He had two of Lafayette’s 11 tackles for loss (TFL).
HONORABLE MENTIONS

*Conway led Fordham with 13 tackles and forced a fumble while helping the Rams’ defense limit Wagner to 88 rushing yards in a 46-16 victory.
C.J. Montes, Fordham, So., QB, Pasadena, Calif./Paraclete
*Montes completed 24-of-31 passes for 319 yards and five touchdown passes in Fordham’s 46-16 victory over Wagner. He also rushed for 58 yards on 10 carries.
Jaden Dugger, Georgetown, So., S, Pittsburgh, Pa./Penn Hills
*Dugger recorded seven tackles, forced one fumble and broke up two passes while helping the Hoyas’ defense limit Marist to 202 yards of total offense in a 49-7 victory.
Jamar Curtis, Lafayette, So., RB, Waldorf, Md./St. John’s College
*Curtis rushed for a career-high 181 yards on 19 carries, including a 28-yard touchdown run in the first quarter to lead the Leopards to a 19-14 victory over Sacred Heart.
Saiku White, Lafayette, Jr., S, Atlanta, Ga./Greater Atlanta Christian School
*White matched his career-high with 12 tackles and posted 1.0 TFL while leading the Leopards’ defense in holding Sacred Heart to 115 rushing yards and 139 passing yards in a 19-14 victory.
