😉Now we know but kinda already did.😊
I agree we should not be personally attacking Foley or anyone here. And as long as the Dean wants to put up with his negativity, it’s a free country.
Oh, did you ever hear that I’m unhappy that Fr. Boroughs killed the Crusader mascot/logo? 😂

Foley absolutely should not be banned and can continue to post anything he likes, so long as it remains within the board rules. That said, he should also expect anything that comes his way....which I think he does.

C'mon, Teamer, you've been on here long enough to realize that Foley looks for and only posts negative things about Holy Cross. It's not this specific post, it's just one drop in a flood of posts that have only one thing in common - disparaging Holy Cross. I have posted often that the folks at UNH are great. Foley is an exception and more than a year ago he explained why to me in a PM. He's holding a grudge against the HC administration, though he didn't use that term. Rather than just move on, he's made a decision to come on here frequently to post negative stuff. Yes, some/most of it is "objective" like the immediate post but you'll never see him post positive stuff about Holy Cross. Crusader football beating Sacred Heart or UNH in the playoffs? Let's put a spin that both schools weren't any good. He'll belittle his alma mater if it makes Holy Cross look worse. The biggest problem is that most posters here just don't put him on their "ignore list." He feeds off the responses that he gets. Well, I don't look through things with Blue and White glasses with my alma mater either. They are an absolute joke with that basketball program playing in that excuse of a gym. I constantly ripped them for the old football stadium....

All these grudges. As someone once said to me: While you're holding a grudge the person you're holding a grudge against is out dancing.

I think our women's program contrasted with our football program proves that a better conference does not necessarily mean better recruits, more interest, and in turn, better on ice/field results. If you asked me 15 years ago if HC football would be getting kids to commit who have P5 offers, PWO, etc., and nearly fill Alumni Stadium for a game, I would say you are batty and or a dreamer. While everyone knows I'm not a huge PL fan, I am quite impressed by the staff's ability to recruit well. Unfortunately, joining Hockey East has not been a panacea for our women's team. Perhaps we need a new recruiting coordinator or coaching staff. Playing on the larger stage of Frozen Fenway hopefully had a positive impact on the recruiting, but who knows.

HC has five max scholarship sports: FB, M&W BB, M&W Hockey. The Chesney experience proves the right coach can turn an HC scholarship team into a contender pdq.

Disagree Huge difference between FCS football in a lousy league and competing at one of the top D.1 women’s hockey league All that being said Chesney is doing a super job with what he’s been given and LaChappele is underperforming

Oct 2 Women's poll: ECAC: 5 teams (5 top 10) WCHA: 5 teams (4 top 10) HEA: 4 teams (1 top 10) CHA: 1 team (0 top 10) NEWHA: 0 teams
Definitely is a P3 then a pair of weaker conferences.

I assume Holy Cross will absolutely positively never ever evah move down to the NEWHA. It wouldn't bother me but my sense is the school position is "no retreat, no surrender."

We will see if Holy Cross is even the best D-1 women's hockey team in Worcester as Assumption is playing them twice this season.

ludicrous suggestion. If we lose to a new, upstart program they should fire the coaches after the game. Assumption began the season with a pair of opening losses to RIT, their first Division 1 games since making the sport NCAA Division 1 in NEWHA. RIT competes in the CHA and finished 4-26-2 last season. Although we are not the strongest team in the world, I would expect HC to take both games handily.
