Yup. Shortly after my classmate Anne Fink, at that time Chief Commercial Officer, Retail Channels for Pepsico and currently President of Pepsico Global Foodservice, joined the BOT in 2011, Holy Cross became a Pepsi campus.
Not sure where UA falls in the current uniform market, but maybe we can get some uniforms that are not quite so generic as the current Adidas styles and do not offer a black uniform!

Do you have a suggestion for an alternative contrasting third uniform color?

Not a comment on color but I’d like a home uniform option to say ‘The Cross’

Welcome to our two newest members. I trust they both will balance the many constraints and constituencies and hopefully do right by our beloved Crusader athletics.
On the uniform note, I love the classic purple helmets with purple jerseys and white pants as well as the white jersey and purple pant combo. I have never been a fan of an all one color or "color rush" look. I would not mind one alternate consisting of silver helmets and silver pants or simply bringing back the silver pants as an option. In the 50s I think we had double shoulder stripes a la LSU and Ole Miss. Throwbacks would be welcome in my boom.
Black alternates wouldn't bother me but I also wouldn't be in love with them either. the silver numbers on the last edition looked cool in person and quite sleek but nobody, literally nobody could read them from the press box or top of the stands.

Might explain a bit about a brief conversation I had with pere Jeff, prior to the BC game when he told me Peter was there for the game as he "came up from Ecuador" (!!). I didn't have time to pump him for why Peter was in Ecuador.

From Jen Tolland Oliver, the former St. John’s High star running back from Auburn, applied to a ministry program in Ecuador called Rostro de Cristo, and he is interested in teaching outside of the United States as well.

Now that you post that, I do think I heard that elsewhere (Crossports, maybe?) but not from Jeff.
Peter embodies Chesney's "at Holy Cross, you can have it all" - really, really smart; a musician; BoT member; religious/spiritual. I like having him be one of the young BoT members. Not only a former student-athlete but a Worcester native that brings that perspective.

I think UA is out of that market or severely down as UCLA got a 67 million dollar settlement from them. BC also dropped UA for New Balance. www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/34313337/under-armour-pay-ucla-675m-settlement-termination-apparel-sponsorship-deal

Many teams are still wearing their laundry. BC is adidas in football and a couple other sports because NB doesn't have a football line. In their case, adidas wins out over NB, IMHO. Names on the back were unreadable.
