PL Pick 'em Final standings, thoughts etc

As the poet T.S. Eliot once wrote, this season goes out not with a bang but with a whimper. Not a reflection on this team or this SR class, just disappointment on a season many thought may end in Frisco, Texas. This group has re-established HC football and I couldn't be more proud of this group. Great season and a 5th straight PL title is an amazing achievement. On the prognosticator front, nycru2010 took a late lead and put a strangle-hold on it through the finish of the season. He and jouts77hc, ky75, crosser and purplehaze all went 4-0 last last week and win a drink in the Bustah Sheary Room this Winter. nycru2010 also wins the Japanese Tea Garden palm frond for winning this competition for the year. Many thanks to all who participated again this year....it's a marathon, going from the dog days of  late August to late Novembah, but I think it's a fun competition that keeps us engaged throughout the season. I will not be doing an FCS Playoff Pick 'em...just don't have the heart for it this year....if anyone wants to do it, have at it. See you in August 2024 as we get ready for the Rhody Rams.
