Good points KOT about St Joe's. There were never any names from that group of nnj schools that were on our list at least that kids pisted. I made a point somewhat about "pipelines" usually not existing and more a rear view mirror perception of recent activities with its ebbs and flows. What we don't know is recent activities and second signing period.

Won't lie, was worried we wouldn't be able to lock him up. Big get.

My guess is HC will put out a recap article once they have confirmed no one else is committing. So I'm still holding out hope for a few more

Saw Schoonmaker play Dexter this year. Not only a great TE but a sack machine for Hamden. Was he recruited only as a TE? I believe he was second in New England and first in NEPSAC in sacks.

There was a Tweet posted. It’s 10 today. At this point I have no clue if others are coming or not.

Total number is not necessarily significant but I think we have the smallest signed class (10) in the PL - Colgate leads with 24 from what I have gleaned

Well, it is a start and Coach Curran has not really started recruiting yet. We will see down the road how that goes.

For all the BC haters out there you’ll be happy to know they signed an underwhelming class of 12 and rank 17th and last in the ACC

With the FCS scholarship limit aren’t we targeting an average of 15 per class?

With the FCS scholarship limit aren’t we targeting an average of 15 per class? Not everyone is on a full scholarship (or any scholarship). With roster in the 85 range, we need 21.25 kids per year.

Roster was 108 this past year. I expect it to be around 100 in 2024.

Do we have any verbals that didn’t sign anywhere today? I’m just wondering who, if anyone, is still in play.

We only have one named guy worth tracking at this point. Ty Miles, OL from CT. I'm a little worried about JMU sniping him at this point, but with Rauner reclassifying, he's the only one left.
Not sure if any of the two signals are in play still or not though.

One of the unidentified signals was Schoonmaker - he signed. A second - after the 12/8 weekend was Tyler Brown. An excellent DB who committed to HC on 12/8 only to sign with JMU today. I have no idea if that had anything to do with Coach Barnes recruiting him and now not on the HC staff. Either way he signed elsewhere. The third unaccounted for signal was an OL who has yet to sign. One can hope he does.

Tyler Brown signed with JMU? When Chesney was still at HC didn't he tell him he could have it all at HC?

At that time Brown was committed at Liberty and HC already had their 4 DBs. Brown committed after Bostic decommitted.

There were two or three less heralded players also. But those schools produce lots of FBS recruits. There's a great picture of a very large now HC frosh Sean Woods from BC being hugged by his linemate who makes Sean look like he's in a father-son picture.
