Jalen jumped a 42.5 Vertical! #1 WR on the board right now.

Currently 5th amongst WRs with a 10'8 broad jump. Adonai Mitchell from Texas leads with an 11'4

I think that's just half of the WRs testing, but 1st/5th is a great start.
The 40 and agility drills will be pretty big for him at this point. He could get strapped to a rocket a bit if he shows out in them.

Hence the name “jump ball Jalen”
For reference, One site had DrJ at 41 inches

He’s got 4.53 (was my guess) at the pro day in him. Hammy might have just got back to 100% in last ~2 weeks.

The greatest WR In NFL history, Jerry Rice, was by no means a burner but he ended up just fine. Jalen is a football player, not a track and field runner.

Disappointed with the timing of the broadcast for Jalen so far. No commentary on him. Seems like there’s always something else they are talking about at the same time. I want some “big time player from a small school” discussion.

His unofficial 10 yard split is T-2 at 1.52. It confirms he’s more explosive than a sprinter. It’s not his start.

Jalen’s gauntlet not televised because of commercials. Thanks NFL Network. Maybe we can hear some more Rich Eisen nonsense.

He still has some time to gain from his start is all I meant.
I'm pretty confident he'll get his time down by the pro day. 4.49 might be too far a dream at this point but 4.52-4.53 will help people think of him as more than just a jump ball guy (or even THE jump ball guy)

I want some “big time player from a small school” discussion. He should get some coverage when this group wraps up and they show highlights. His vert was so much better than everyone else's that I'd be shocked if they didn't even discuss that.

That leap is the one HC saw against Buffalo...pair that with his strong grip and it is a powerful combo.

A Gauntlet rep was televised. He was smooth and caught every ball.

Hasn't dropped a single ball on TV yet. His gauntlet was super clean as noted. He made a few body catches during some routes, but they were mainly due to poor passes.
Id almost rather he get one of the really bad passes so he can go make a highlight reel catch, but so far it's mainly been balls a little behind him.
