Rutgers was up 14-0, let Miami back in with multiple dirty plays/penalties now goes up 21-17 with a blocked punt and recovery for a TD.

Rutgers came back in the 4th quarter big time. They lead 31-24 with under 30 seconds left.

Scary at the end after the onsides kick, but Rutgers wins and ends the year with a winning record 7-6.

For a coach who will be paid $6 million in 2024, this was an underwhelming performance by the Scarlet Knights in my humble opinion. What was the attendance?

The blocking formation for that punt was the strangest one I have ever seen….. 4 down lineman and 2 behind the line defending the punter. Rutgers rushed 8. The punter had almost no chance. Two players blocked it with their chests. Love to know what the Miami special teams coach was thinking.

OTOH, Cristobal gets $2M more a year, has a 10 year contract, and, supposedly, one of the bigger payrolls in college football. Listed attendance, 35K. 16K at Fenway. Weather bad in both places, sure didn't look like 16K at Fenway (didn't see very much of the Miami game and no crowd shots, so I can't comment on that).
