Fascinating. Teams could be in a similar position to Jon Morris '64 and others were. Morris was drafted by both the NFL Green Bay Packers coached by Fordham grad Vince Lombardi and the AFL Boston Patriots coached by BC grad Mike Holovak and had to choose. He went with the BC grad and thus there is no HC grad in all the NFL Films on the Packer dynasty.😒 If the WBIT and WNIT keep a similar auto-bid model it could get intere$ting for the schools receiving invites. The NCAA figures they will move the WBIT ahead by making the first four out of the NCAA tournament the top four seeds in the WBIT. But what if somebody with money buys into the WNIT and starts offering cash to those same four teams to sign with the WNIT? Unlikely for a secondary tournament but it would serve the NCAA right for muscling in on the WNIT. Ironic that Goliath (the NCAA) is a non-profit and David (the WNIT) is a for-profit, I assume.

Unfortunately, if the WNIT survives, it will likely turn into the mid-major losers tournament.

A sliver of hope for the WNIT would be if a fledgling Sports Network or Streaming site needing content subsidized the tournament and allowed the WNIT to compete with the WBIT in payouts to participating teams. Individual schools can't lose if there are competing tournaments.

IIRC, Army looked great against HC in Worcester last year. Not too many good things have happened to them since.

IIRC, Army looked great against HC in Worcester last year. Not too many good things have happened to them since. The had a dcent PL season, 10-8, beating #4 Colgate in the quarters & lost in OT to BU in the semis. Lost a lot of senior leadership with Brown, Hunter & HAll, but didn't expect them to struggle this much as Traversi is a really good coach. Comparing their roster from this year to last, looks like a lot of turnover of the underclasswomen. Army is very young, 8 frosh on the roster.

Can't be a great coach if the program regresses each year. Hunter and Hall (Fallon too) and crew were D. Magarity's recruits. But she deserves her chance. She's in year 3 in a weak league though. IMO should be doing better. I hope she succeeds. Respectfully, just can't meet you at the 'really good coach' spot yet.

Fair enough, but I will add I was hoping HC would hire her back when.

These missed bunnies are painful to watch, Allen just can't finish anything today. After 3 HC 50-39, 1-18 from the field

We need to do better when teams come with a post double. Too much forcing it up.

HC has a good "cut man" (or woman) on the bench who gets Foreman back in there quickly after being bloodied.
