AU played a similar regular season game last year on February 11th, at the Hart, when they succeeded by mugging HC, with uncalled fouls by the stripes, a 67-65 OT victory. However the tables were turned in the PLT game March 6th, at the Hart, when HC dominated play and won 73-44.
AU plays a very physical game during Patriot League competition, that often the ref’s allow. Fortunately they were called to task in the second half last night for their over the top aggression.
Also another interesting point, on both the AU teams, (men’s and women’s), there is an assistant coach who was a former HC DBO.

Take a look at how the Army women beat BU last night at WP - In the part that I watched they were so tough against the taller Terriers and toughed out that win. AU and AWP play similarly

HC gives out as good as they get, we play a pretty physical game & were not shrinking violets last night

AU and AWP play similarly Army's only chance seems to be to make the other team look bad. Complete hacker basketball. Hope HC only has to play them one more time, not twice.

Any truth to the rumor that Anthony Mason and Charles Oakley are now assistant coaches there?

After Wednesday’s win, the latest ESPN Bracketology has HC as the PL automatic qualifier as a 15 seed playing no.2 seed UConn in Storrs - that would be very ugly

When are the women going to fight for parity and not have to play in an opponent’s campus gym after earning a bid to the Big Dance?

When there is parity amoung the teams & fannies in the seats. Very accurate. If they played the first two rounds of the women’s tournament on neutral courts, the attendance at best would be counted in hundreds. Except for UConn and a few others.

Since you put it that way, NCAA tournament games in most sports begin on campus. Financial reality 1, blind gender equity zip.
