With so many different winners of the PoW, it may be a close vote for the PoY. Weimar, with 3 weekly awards and the leader in double-doubles, seems to be the current favorite. Better if BPC leads us to the PLT crown and wins MVP as she did last season.

When Lauren Manis was on the team she was clearly one of the best players in the conference but would never win that award because the team constantly finished below fourth place. I wouldn't say Weimar is the favorite with BU currently in fourth. It will probably go to the team that wraps up the one seed. IMO O'Bannon from Loyola should be coach of the year no matter what because they were picked preseason to finish in seventh or eighth place.

Mack over Manis was certainly a hot debate back in 2020, but Mack was not an unworthy choice. With 3 games left, since they teams are so tightly bundled together, you could have anyone of 5 teams win the regular season, & ties are not unlikely. HC controls their fate, if they win out they end #1, if not, they could drop like a rock in the standings

Don’t forget that the POW awards are chosen by an entirely different group of voters whose voting criteria is about 95% offensive stats. The All-PL teams, and the player of the year, are chosen only by the coaches, who have a totally different set of criteria than the weekly voters. Having said that, I think Weimar is a clear favorite with Therien battling P-C for number two. An interesting contest will be for the last two spots on the first team. Agree about O’Bannion deserving COY. Her Loyola team was picked for ninth and is currently in second.

Fabulous parity this year. If only because proximity should increase crowd size, another HC-BU clash in the final would be awesome. Both bands, cheerleaders and dance squads, please. Make it festive. I don't think Navy brought a band to the Hart in the 2022 WBB final (they brought a dagger instead) but they did at least once to a MBB or WBB PLT game at the Hart Center and the band was great.

Odds are if that happens the game will be in Worcester this time; realistically, the only team that can finish ahead of Holy Cross at this point is Loyola.

Well, if Colgate goes 3-0, Loyola 2-1 & HC 1-2, 3 way tie for first, CU gets #1 seed, Loyola #2 & HC #3.

Well, if Colgate goes 3-0, Loyola 2-1 & HC 1-2, 3 way tie for first, CU gets #1 seed, Loyola #2 & HC #3. And in the above scenario, if army goes 3–0, there would be a four-way tie, and then army would get the number one seed.
