Many players (mostly from Ivies) are putting their names out there saying they're available to transfer for a grad year.
I think BPC would be the only one among our 4 seniors who would have an opportunity to play a 5th year elsewhere.
Does anyone know if she's interested ? I'm a bit conflicted if she's playing well enough this season to attract attention. What do others think ?

I'll take the other side. The four seniors are all attractive candidates as a one year investment for the right program. Look at Maddy Demski and Kerry Flaherty, they found the right programs for them and it worked. Maddy played near home at Gannon and Kerry is majoring in World Politics in a great location for it, Catholic U. after earning a B.A. in International Relations at HC and is a key member of a high D-3 team in a magical season.
Use the skills you've acquired in a winning program for four years. It has value in WBB.

LS, I'm talking about a grad year at a D.1 school If HC had grad school and any three out of the four went elsewhere for a grad year, wouldn't coach give strong consideration to offering a one year scholly to the remaining player, whichever one it was? |

Four years of quality D-1 coaching in a winning program, four years of physical training with full time strength and conditioning coaches, thousands of hours of film study, hundreds of drills, the innate knowledge of why a bounce pass is needed at D-1 speed before a split second on court decision, all make our four seniors attractive candidates for a one year investment somewhere in comparison to a high school senior because not every program has their roster management in the perfect spot especially these days. |

I think BPC can take the tape from last night and send it out to coaches looking for a mature 5th year for their 24-25 roster. As I began here, does anyone know if she's looking for this or just ready to head back home to Ireland and maybe play some pro ball in Europe ?

As I began here, does anyone know if she's looking for this or just ready to head back home to Ireland and maybe play some pro ball in Europe ? Great question, I don't believe she is in the portal (for that matter don't think anyone is yet). I'd be surprised if she hasn't heard some whispers from teams. |
