Watching Caleb Kenney sink those critical foul shots last night, it struck me on how much he has improved his overall game since his freshman year.
Then I wondered, who are the HC players over the last 25 years (2000-2024) who have improved their game the most?
Here are my candidates:
Caleb Kenney Jehyve Floyd Pat Whearty Malcolm Miller
Who am I missing?

Andrew Keister would be my addition to the list.
How about Kevin Hamilton--I think he improved a lot by end of freshman year but that improvement continued throughout his four seasons

All listed are deserving. While CK still has another year to continue to improve, my vote would be for Miller. I vividly recall attending the CofChas game early in his frosh year seated next to his parents and siblings. His mom unfortunately passed a year or so later. They were so proud of him! I remember thinking at the time that this skinny not athletic looking kid is not much of a basketball player! A couple years later, his performance v Bucknell in the tournament was as good as it gets! So much for my judge of talent!!

I don't know if the numbers coincide, but Tim seemed to get gradually better and better each year.

Tim S. peaked early but was still solid thereafter. The opposite of this survey.

Old timers like me might remember the marked improvement of 6’9” center Tom Seamen.

I am going with Tim Clifford - and I stole the idea from Vaval. Not a very memorable freshman year to 1st team all conference. We shall see what Kenney does next year, but so far Whearty is the only nominee to make 1st team PL, but he had a pretty solid freshman campaign. My two cents

Over the last 20 games of the season, Caleb Kenney averaged 14 ppg and shot 59% from the floor and 62% from the line. After an 0-4 vs Lehigh in late January, he hit over 70% from the line. This would fall into "I guess they never end up with the ball with a second or two on the shot clock far away from the basket" category: Caleb missed two three ball attempts his freshman year. Louth has never attempted one.

mark was the first name that came to mind. Especially between the improvement from frosh/soph to junior/Sr.

KY asked "how about Kevin Hamilton," and I thought to answer the point. I respect your status in this arena, so I am happy to 86 it if you deem it to be so far out of bounds. I thought this far along, it wouldn't be an issue.

Gone, if you delete yours with the quotes, it'll all be from the public record.
