Tom you could be right, but I am sure the games during the summer and practices in the fall will sort it out.

Trimester
With Colgate likely to lose Smith our six recruits being brought in and top nine, if it all comes together, on paper will be better than the rest of the teams in the league- despite the youth

The previous post suggested Batch would start with Boston, and I think he will get his minutes but

Who suggested he isn't part of the lineup? While I think every player has a critical offseason to continue developing, he should get plenty of minutes as a starter or off the bench. Nobody posting on this board is on the staff—at least, I don't think so—and they will make those decisions.
Naturally, players need to have a few skills to make this a better team: shooters, scorers, rebounders, defenders, passers, length, height, strength, and quickness. It is fair to suggest that the incoming student-athletes have most of the skills we need to improve.

My guess is that Green, Richards, Singelton, or Williams will be part of the starting backcourt along with Boston.

There are some very talented and athletic players at JP2. He and Bryson are the same size, have good length, and can get to the rim.

Gabe played with a '24 recruit, Bryson McGlothlin. Bryson chose Richmond over Holy Cross during the fall recruiting cycle, So there is some HC history with the John Paul II program out of Plano, Texas

One thing to watch for Asante. Darius Slayton is currently skipping workouts in hopes of a new contract. The Giants don't seem to be in any rush to give him a deal though, so a trade is a possibility. Asante would be one of the guys they'd be looking to fill in those snaps if such a scenario were to occur. For manycontracts of others will matter

Honestly PL should no longer exist
Find a new conference that meets the needs of our student athletes and by any standard today, this conference is not our FUTURE in any sport
If it is we have waived the flag and says we quit

Will be very interesting to watch how the teams make financial decisions with the roster over the next two or three weeks and again later in August

The other option, or reality, is to build the NIL to provide modest payments where needed. With our recruiting class coming in, this will be a growing issue for HC football and basketball moving forward.

We shall see what his options will be in the days ahead- Colgate was in the process of building an NIL for football, but I don't know about basketball. The high majors and the top level of the mid-majors will offer significant dollars, but I am betting the other levels will remain at a modest level of funding two years from now.

His 40 and YAC frequently were raised by scouts
In reality you get to camp and play
A risk averse business
FCS experience is a risk for the next level
