I'm actually a current grad student at Michigan and one of my housemates was on that plane as part of the basketball band, luckily every one was okay. It was kind of a bizarre day in Ann Arbor, really sunny but wind gusts of 63 mph which caused a lot of power outages and fallen limbs in southeastern Michigan. The team wound up making it out the next morning and beat Illinois in their first round game, which was at noon. A lot of Michigan fans are wanting them to stick to the practice uniforms now for good luck for their game today against Purdue; unfortunately, they will get new Jordan ones.
