Creative thinking, Dave. (The current set-up was OK until I could suddenly no longer get the video of Patriot League games on my MacBook.) Except how do you divide 10 by 3 evenly??? Your math's a little off. Three, three and four...but with two additional teams it can work quite easily. When dealing in fantasy, I don't sweat small details. (PS: The idea was not my original one, so I wonder why you feel my math was off? Again, small detail. )

Creative thinking, Dave. (The current set-up was OK until I could suddenly no longer get the video of Patriot League games on my MacBook.) Except how do you divide 10 by 3 evenly??? Your math's a little off. I don't think you have to, Tim (and I really didn't explain it the first time). For example, here are the 3 zones I was thinking of: Zone 1 (NE region): HC, BU, Army, Colgate Zone 2 (PA region): Bucknell, LC, LU Zone 3 (Wash/DC region): Loy, Navy, AU For Zone 1 teams, they play 6 games within their zone, 5 games against Zone 2 teams (2 games against 2 opponents, one opponent you play once, rotating that every year), and the same against Zone 3 teams, for a total of 16 games. It's a little different for teams in Zones 2 and 3. First, they play 4 games with teams in their own zone. Then, with the other 3 team zone, they play each of those twice (6 games). Then, against Zone 1, they play 2 games twice against 2 teams, and single games against the other 2 teams. There is your 16. I think 16 games is enough for the cream to rise to the top (and vice versa). It gives the schools more flexibility with scheduling (for HC, I would want it to strengthen their overall schedule). It also would at least cut back on the league travel a little bit, maybe more if you went back to the Friday-Sunday schedule.

Ok, so it's safe to assume that our conference affiliation and administration has push HC into the trouble spots that we are in now. I understand that a BE move is out of the question, but I don't understand why we had accepted our current state. We talk about not wanting to be Fordham in the A10 but we are a bottom tier PL team and that is acceptable?? Crazy talk!!! My friend, my friend; while there is a lot of debate about HOW the program could/should improve, I don't think anyone is accepting of being a bottom tier PL team. That indeed would be crazy talk!

NAD, you know we have the same background in support for this team. I think we all want to see them win but I feel over the last 10 years, we have seen a huge drop off in talent, coaching and the standings have seen us in the lower tier than ever before. We may not want to believe it, but this school has never returned to the level it reached in the RW run of 2001-2005 and the 2007 team. Why has recruiting dropped off so far? All the educational stats are great for stats, but we don't win much, see an entertaining form of BB and I feel less optimistic than I did when we didn't have schollies. So many teams who couldn't have carried our bags 10-15 years ago, now beat us regularly. That needs to change

We have a very good coach now after two prior ones who were clearly sub-optimal. I believe this team will improve a great deal over the next few years.

I hope your right, but we are returning 1 starter who is very limited, have no seniors, and six unproven freshman. With no scholarships next year, let's hope CBC hits the jackpot, he hasn't done too well so far.

Recruiting 1-5
Last year was last year. This years team returning most of the team, was one of the hardest teams to watch and understand what they were trying to do. We played more like the team that lost 20 games and not the one that was 5-0 at end of season. I will wait a couple more seasons before I nominate CBC the next RW. I hope I can, but haven't seen enough to believe in the system yet
