In the first inning of today's softball game against Marist, Holy Cross scored 4 runs. They had no hits, but benefited from 7 walks, 3 wild pitches and 2 passed balls.
The Marist coach must be going bonkers.

Holy Cross made these improvements under a consent decree that resolved a Title IX complaint (by the Dept. of Education) regarding softball vis-a-vis baseball. I believe the proposed, new softball locker room is the only item outstanding.

HC vs Marist split the doubleheader. The Oberdorf sisters play for Marist, the older sister a pitcher and younger sister, on scholarship, an all-maac infielder. The younger sister decided to play basketball, is very good, but was injured at end of season and is not playing softball his season.
