Don't let the curmudgeons get you down. Vote for Anthony Critelli often. Even if it is rigged, let's support our player.

another of our ooc opponents made it, CCSU won the nec tourney and had a very nice year at 36-20.
will we have the worst rpi in the field ? if so, might be correct that we go to corvallis to face national no.1 seed oregon state.

No surprise here, a #64 seed will play the #1 team in the country.

Something more to think about (from Twitter, and no idea how factual this might be): TACP promised me a walk up ticket. What gives?

Wouldn't be surprised if HC and Yale share a flight out to Corvalis.

Interestingly, Texas Southern has a lower rpi (268) than HC (218). They should play the #1 overall national seed not us. At least it is a double elimination tourney. Not fair, however. Should send us to UNC. warrennolan.com/baseball/2017/rpi-live

$800 bucks to Corvallis by way of Eugene!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a shaft job. Corvallis as bad as Belfast!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fly to Portland and drive down. It is not too far. www.google.com/maps/dir/portland/Eugene,+OR/@44.5520538,-123.51221,7.22z/data=!4m14!4m13!1m5!1m1!1s0x54950b0b7da97427:0x1c36b9e6f6d18591!2m2!1d-122.6764816!2d45.5230622!1m5!1m1!1s0x54c119b0ac501919:0x57ec61894a43894d!2m2!1d-123.0867536!2d44.0520691!3e0?hl=en Try to book your flight on Alaska Airlines. Great in flight experience, rated number 1 in the US 10 years in a row! Many connections to Portland.

Should send us to UNC. warrennolan.com/baseball/2017/rpi-liveOther than men's basketball, the NCAA doesn't attempt to match teams in exact seeding/RPI order. When it comes to the lower seeds, one of the considerations is money, be it soccer, lacrosse, baseball, etc. On a number of occasions they will first assign low-seeded teams to Regionals that are close enough to use a bus. That is true for Texas Southern, who will be playing at LSU - maybe 3 1/2 hours away. Once they have finished with assigning teams to close regions, those that are left get assigned. It is cheaper to fly HC to Oregon State and bus Texas Southern to LSU than to fly both of them to faraway sites. Of the four seeds, SD State, Sacramento State, UNC Greensboro, Davidson, Texas Southern, Ohio U, Oral Roberts were all assigned to close Regionals - even though their exact seeds might have called for them to go somewhere else.

Thanks for the idea. Portland might work. Fly Thursday night return late Saturday. What time is consolation game on Saturday? Need to work on a ticket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
