Great effort by King tonight. Very impressive. Leaves with the bases loaded and one out in the sixth. Down 3-1. Capen needs a strikeout or a ground ball here.

Tough break for King on a fly ball that hung in the air for an awfully long time and looked like it probably should have been caught. A great performance from him tonight. He showed some serious guts.
Very jealous of NCAAM getting to take in this performance from HC in enemy territory.

8-2 the final. Great effort at the end, with bases loaded in the 9th inning. No quit in these guys against the Nations #1 team. Super job by our catcher tonight, with 5 different pitchers! Also, great of the coach to get a lot of guys in at the end of the game.

Not a shocker that King pitched well and so did some of the HC relievers. HC never quit and battled to the end. Yale will face the Oregon ace (apparently lowest ERA in the nation) and we'll try to beat Nebraska.

Better era than yesterday's starter? I thought I heard he was < 1.0 Heimlich has an ERA of 0.81. Thompson, who started last night, has a lofty 1.30. Heimlich also has better peripherals and is ranked significantly higher in the pre-draft rankings. |
