The play by play guy just said Dicenzo doesn't like to bunt. He likes his hitters to hit. Small sample...last 7 games or so...fewr bunts, more production

Based on ERA, Yale's pitching substantially drops off after their top two starters. But they still have very good hitters in their lineup. Last night they ran into a buzz saw.

Holy Cross must win three more games to advance to the Super Regional. “I like where we are at,” DiCenzo said. “I like the fact that we’re gonna have to come out and play tenacious and resilient like we have all season long.” Go Cross!

OMG - What a world we live in believe he pitched the 2nd game vs. yale (11-0 win) hv to believe he won't pitch any longer for osu and his draft status is 'kaput' !

I wonder if the ad and coach knew about it? Sounds like they did . . . According to the Oregonian, OSU athletic director Scott Barnes would not say when the school knew Heimlich was a registered sex offender, and a Oregon State spokesman told the paper that the university receives lists of offenders from Oregon State Police "on a regular ongoing basis" and then checks those names against its student database. The spokesman told the paper that information is then shared only on an "educational need to know" basis.

OMG - What a world we live in believe he pitched the 2nd game vs. yale (11-0 win) hv to believe he won't pitch any longer for osu and his draft status is 'kaput' ! Some questions....
A then 15 year old has to be a registered sex offender ? For life ? He's now a 21 year old Junior. Doesn't his status have to be made known to the students he's been living with on campus ? Is the inference of the article that OSU just found out about this ? Hard to believe that was the case. Then again, maybe the State of Oregon has odd laws/rules on this followed by the state university.
Will ESPN follow-up/report this story during the tv coverage this weekend ?

Much more God awful case than originally assumed. Reported now that so far 3 MLB teams have removed his name from draft lists.

This kid is a first round talent so they should have run his name through the court records. That is it the Oregonian did as detailed here from the editor. bit.ly/2qZL1bH

Horrific story - prayers to the little girl who has to live with this for the rest of her life and to the fact that Luke finds it in him to never do such harm to an innocent person ever again.
His draft stock will tumble but someone will take the risk on him in a mid-round. If he doesn't get picked by a certain point, he becomes "low-risk, high reward" because at that point the odds of any alternate pick reaching the majors would be pretty slim.
If Matt Bush could be forgiven, Heimlich will ultimately be as well. Remember, Bush hit his low point after driving drunk, running over the head of a motorcyclist and then leaving the scene leaving him for dead (thank God for helmets). This came several years after Bush drunkenly broke into his former high school and started a fight with a student who was 3-4 years younger than him at the time -- he ended up beating the guy up while screaming, "I'm Matt f***ing Bush!!!"

Oregon State beat Vandy 8-4, and 9-2, similar to OSU's scoring margin over HC. Texas A&M ousted Davidson.

Every MLB team passed on the Oregon State pitcher. Prior to his past being revealed he was a lock for 1st possibly early 2nd round.
