strike'em put - throw'em out dp to end the top of thw 6th - wow ! I know why voitek plays with a ,150 average - he has been amazing behind the plate for these 2 games

Rule 7.05 (d) applied to that odd play. Bases awarded from where the runners were at the time the ball was deflected which was why batter ended up on third (Thanks to my umpire son for assistance.)

WOW! Strikeout throw-out dp gets us out of trouble. Absolutely atrocious fundamental baseball by Nebraska over and over again today.
Not taking anything away from Voitek, but sheer lunacy to be running down five in the 7th.
