Ha Ha
Maybe these schools that jumped from traditional, more regional conferences to chase the almighty dollar should just buy their own planes

Several thoughts.
> Airlines will fly you anywhere, any time if you're willing to pay the price
> Charters to an airport (particularly a hub) served by the airline are probably easier to book, as the airline can turn the plane in regular service before the return.
> As the scheduled airlines pull back, some charter operators (see Casino Express (AKA Xtra) which flew HC and Yale back) may pick up some of the slack. but an FBS school not in the Power Five may find itself getting the short end of the travel stick.
> Don't know whether any FCS schools fly charter, but several members of the CAA and nearly all members of the Pioneer Conference could find travel distances without going charter will put them in an untenable position. This article cannot be good news for UMass FBS football.

This article cannot be good news for UMass FBS football. If team air travel costs are on the rise, UMass better be picking up a good chunk of change to be somebody's homecoming game patsy. Of course, they could always get back on the bus and revert to playing Maine, New Hampshire, URI, and a couple of New England Ivies.
