To Our Entire Crusader Baseball Family,
What a FUN few weeks on the Hill!!! I have been waiting 10 years to write this letter, and finally, the opportunity has presented itself. It is only through the grace of coaching a roster filled with dedicated, resilient, tenacious, selfless, and committed individuals am I finally able to write..."They did it!!!"
This group of individuals competed against some of the top teams in the nation, beginning in mid-February at Auburn. As each of you are fully aware, the road to the Fitton Field dog-pile began far earlier than Game 1 of the season. This team committed themselves to one goal…win the Patriot League Championship and represent the College of the Holy Cross in a NCAA Regional. That year-long commitment began in Annapolis, Md., as we stood and watched the Naval Academy celebrate just a few feet away from us in 2016. I cannot provide enough thanks to our 2017 club for their dedication to each other, their work ethic on a daily basis, and the way in which they represented all of you on (and off) the field this entire year. They were knocked down plenty of times, yet always answered the bell. The bigger the moment, the harder they played. The more difficult the situation, the more resilient they became. It was truly the most cohesive group of individuals I have ever been fortunate enough to work with.

I want to thank all of you for your continued support of our program, and more importantly, your support of our players. Over the last month, I have passed along many of your text messages and emails to the team. With no uncertainty, they fully understand the responsibility they have in donning the "HC" shield! Our players competed with passion, energy, and desire for every teammate on the roster…for every person who bleeds purple. As I stated after our final game, in our final press conference, I absolutely love Holy Cross, I bleed purple with all of you, and I absolutely love these guys!
I am looking forward to seeing many of our alumni at our event in Boston on June 28. If you live, work or can be in Boston on the 28th, please join us! Details for the event are as follows:
