ok, now it is the best HC 2 man combination of front court and backcourt of course, Cousy-Kaftan, Palazzi-Markey, Heinsohn-Perry sr lead the pack, but I did not have the pleasure if seeing them so of those I have seen:('61-today) 1-Perry jr-Potter 2-Foley-Shea(narrowly beats out Blaney) 3-Siudut-Stazinski 4-Simmons-K.Hamilton 5-Feaster-G.Hamilton 6-Pernell-Nairus 7-Szatko-Meade
thoughts ?

RP JR and Chris Potter would be first in my book and I suppose RP JR and Mike Vicens would be second unless the ground rules state that no one can appear twice Simmons and Thomas should be considered for the list-- How about Gene Doyle and......Jack Adams? or maybe even Kevin Stacom

Only .year not that strong .

Thanks--no argument with the unwritten rule.
Really enjoying these trivia exercises--helps us remember some greats from the past and from recent eyars.

Not yet...perhaps when they complete their careers, as all the other pairs on the list have done.

Only .year not that strong If you chose Adams you'd have to go with Bob Kissane.. Doyle was a player off the bench the one year he played with Adams. Kissane played two and was a very good post player. Doyle's backcourt pairing would be Bruce Grentz. .

I remember Bruce Grentz well as he was the point guard my freshman year. I mentioned Jack Adams in that I thought Doyle-Adams might be a more productive pair than Doyle-Grentz

IIRC Fr Hart died in the winter. I have it in the back of my mind that attendance at the funeral was down some because of a snowstorm. I remember being impressed that Dr Osmanski somehow made it out from Chicago (one of the few long distance travelers at the funeral) and getting to meet him and talk for a bit
